It's been almost a month since the Berlin Marathon and I wanted to say a big thank you. As I am sure you know it was very hot day (race target time didn't go to plan) but I still enjoyed it and my time there.
Once again thank you to running crazy for making this happen. This is my third world major marathon. London 3 times, Chicago Marathon and now Berlin.

Thank you all for looking after us & making sure we were where we were meant to be for both the Generali 5k & BMW Berlin Marathon. The hotel was perfect, great location, very clean & pleasant, helpful staff.
This was a wonderful weekend, the weather would have been lovely if we didn't have to run!
I did fracture my foot, x-rayed yesterday but it's minimal so hopefully not out of action for too long.
Our flight was cancelled but the airline put us up in a different hotel, that wasn't as good as yours.
Just reliving the weekend by looking at photos. It was definitely a wonderful experience.

Hello Malcolm - just a quick note to thank you for the Berlin experience. I may not have achieved that which I set out to do but I still enjoyed the whole event. You (with Graham and John) did exactly what 'it said on the tin'. A very well delivered event for a lot of people - many of whom, I expect, will have wanted specific tweaks to their itinerary. I know only too well all about event organisation and the difficulties and quirks it can throw up - you seem to roll very well with the punches!
Graham and John were excellent in their roles - please thank them for me.
It was my first (and last!) Major; Berlin was alive and buzzing with the whole thing and one felt privileged to be there. The whole city seemed to be behind the event.
In good time we will probably look at a half marathon in a venue which is of interest to us. I'd be very grateful for your views on the half marathon of our choice as and when we make specific enquiries.
Hope your trip to Tbilisi was satisfactory and thanks again to all of you for your help, guidance, friendship and support.

We all wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for looking after us so well this weekend in Berlin.
I enjoyed my first Marathon and was so grateful for you escorting us runners to the start (which was my main worry). You really took the stress out of everything for me.
Lee and Lily had fun chasing me all around various points in the course, and they felt like they’d done a marathon too, so they tell me.
We were all so sad to have missed the party in the evening but just had nothing left to give unfortunately. I heard from others that it was great.
Berlin was great and would definitely visit again and use the same hotel, it was perfectly located. I’ve already recommended it to family if they are ever visiting.
We made it to the airport in great time with your help but our flight was the last one to leave just after midnight.
Other than the return flight we had an amazing weekend and really enjoyed our time there.

For someone who suffers from Anxiety, yourself, Graham and John made me feel welcome and kept me calm throughout my trip. I just wanted to recommend the guys at Running Crazy Ltd to you if you ever fancy doing a marathon, half or 10k run abroad. Their organisation was just the best, they took the worry and stress away from you. From airport meet and transfer and carb loading meal the night before the race to taking us all to our start pens. They even organised an after race party- I didn't make this unfortunately but the others say it was great. Honestly they looked after me and my spectators so well and I can't praise Malcolm and his team enough!
Also Berlin was such an amazing place and would recommend a trip even if you aren't there for the running!

As a first timer it was the best running trip I could imagine! I signed up with them to do the BMW Berlin Marathon. They knew exactly what they were doing in terms of picking me up, taking me to the hotel and getting me prepared for the race. Then most importantly arranging for me to get to the marathon start line not too early and not too late. They were very professional, knowledgeable and considerate.
